Good Wood, Good Food

Logie Timber festival celebrates all things Wood, and in its inaugural year celebrates the opening of Logie Timber and The Boardroom at Logie Steading.

You will find over 60 different contributions:
There are demonstrations, exhibitors, kit, machinery, hand tools, things to get your hands on, makers, movers and shakers - as well as food & drink and live music. The aim is fun and information for all the family. And of course all the usual Logie Steading shops and cafe will be open too.

Happenings over the weekend:

  • Extreme Duck Race on the River Findhorn with the FNLFT, Sunday

Have a go at axe-throwing or drum skinning, watch the ancient professions of horse logging or black smithing or more modern ones like chainsaw carving or even a new James Jones timber lorry with VR technology. And there's plenty more!
